The tournament will take place on December 19-20, 2020, and will run from 2:30PM EST to roughly 7:00PM EST on Day 1, and 2:30PM EST to 8:00PM EST on day 2. Tiffany Zhou (Beavercreek) will be serving as tournament director. Games will be played on Discord, more information regarding Discord Science Bowl rules will be released by email shortly. Players and coaches attending should create a free Discord account prior to the tournament. A link to the server as well as a more detailed timetable will be emailed to teams closer to the tournament date.
This tournament is intended for novice players. Thus, players who have qualified for the High School National Science Bowl tournament in the past may not compete. Additionally, players who have qualified for the following are ineligible: USAMO, USAPhO, USNCO Honors, USABO Top 50 and USESO camp. Exceptions to these conditions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please make your best judgement over whether your team is considered novice. Mods will be allowed to veto submissions if we believe you are not eligible. Each team may consist of up to five players, of which four may be playing at a given time. Groups of six or more players should register an additional team.
